Dr Elena Papanikolaou is the Program Director for PE Energy Ltd. Elena holds a PhD in Kantian Philosophy and a postdoc in Aesthetics from the National University of Athens. She holds a BA in Philosophy and an Mphil in Classics from the University of Cambridge. For her academic performance, she was admitted to the status of Bateman Scholar at Trinity Hall, in 2002, and received the Kitty Crawley Prize for Philosophy, the same year. Finally, she holds a BA in Classical Piano and an Mmus as a concert pianist from Rotterdam Academy for the Arts.
Elena worked for several years as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Athens and the University of Peloponnese. She has published several philosophical papers in academic journals and co-organized various classical music festivals in Europe, many of which she participated in as a concert pianist.
Elena has an entrepreneurial background from her family-owned plastics industry, in Southern Greece. She became immersed in the business by working at the department of exports starting from 2006. She speaks Greek, French, English and German.
Elena was appointed to the BoD of PANA Holdings as an Executive Director on August 1st, 2018.
